Regardless of status, belief, and profession, everyone has a story to tell. Stories of love, pain, triumph, struggles, family, career, calling, advocacies, etc. They define who we are, where we come from, and where we want to be. Stories are a gift, a legacy.
Here's an invitation for you to capture and share the stories of your life.

Video stories and other multimedia production for personal, community, business, advocacy, and other events. For those who can’t attend a workshop, we can do your video for you. I am based in the Philippines but I, or with a team (if needed) can travel to different cities or countries for story production projects. We can also do this online. Whatever fits you.
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a lot of challenges in how we live and do work. It limited travels and face-to-face contacts with people. Thanks to technology we are still able to reach and capture stories of people wherever they are in this world through programs like Zoom and as long as they have Internet connection.
While face-to-face interviews are still the best way of interviewing people for better visual output quality and have a more personal approach to it, online interviews have become another great option. It is less costly and it can be done without having to travel.
David Bok on why do video stories and the discovery of Zoom as a better and cheaper option in getting stories when we are limited or prohibited in doing face-to-face interviews due to the pandemic.

Kock Seng was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) in 2015. A rare disease, MSA affects the whole body and is considered a chronic degeneration of the nerves. In 2019, he decided to do this video story for his family and friends. Three years later, he passed away. He left them his gift of stories. This is one of the many legacy video stories he did.
"I let go of what I formerly knew. I took the risk to go into unchartered territory, towards self-discovery. The result was just beautiful. I’m reminded of how the business world also constantly faces changes that cause disruptions and complications. What worked in the past may not work anymore in today’s turbulent and volatile business landscape. We must constantly dare ourselves to explore. In acrylic classes I had to learn new skills. I found a new freedom to try something different. Friends no longer commented that my painting is so real. They said it is so creative. All because I took risks…I have become an artist in my own right. Every piece I paint is my masterpiece."
"The first reason I started thinking about having a video was I knew Kock Seng had a life-limiting illness, which would, in the future, cause him not to be able to talk and I wanted his story with his voice, with his thoughts to be shared with his family, his friends. And selfishly I wanted to hear his voice. I wanted something that would be a legacy for myself, possibly for my children, possibly for others down the road when he wasn’t here."
"Dad had talked about doing this video. It is comforting to hear his voice. Hearing some of his stories brings back a lot of memories. This is a gift to us that we deeply appreciate especially as we couldn't be at his funeral."
